The ever-underrated Los Campesinos! will release another (probably) fantastic new album on Oct 29th. It’s produced by John Goodmanson, and here’s the already classic Avocado, Baby, featuring a real cheerleading squad from Cardiff.
We hadn’t heard more of Dan Bejar, aka Destroyer since his phenomenal last album. He’s back on November 29th with a Spanish-language EP, written by Spanish musician Antonio Luque of Sr. Chinarro. Obviously, it doesn’t sound at all like Kaputt.
Previously unreleased track from the Plastic Beach Syrian sessions. Featuring the Lebanese National Orchestra for Oriental Arabic Music.
Last week or so, Damon Albarn hosted a radio show, and premiered an unreleased Gorillaz song, the instrumental Whirlwind, featuring the Lebanese National Symphony Orchestra. In other Albarn news, he may or may not release a solo album, and may or may not continue with Blur. Dude’s even more of an enigma now.
I’ve neglected my Tumblr for quite a while, so this (and the next few posts) is oldish news but I still want it posted.
A Perfect Circle have released a boxset, and will release their best of Three Sixty in November, and it includes their first new song in 9 years. It’s pretty good, shame it’s probably be the last time we ever hear of them. It also feels really good to hear Maynard James Keenan’s voice once more, until the new Tool album, someday.
I never was into GTA, much too hateful for me. Actually when I got Vice City for PS2, all I did was drive around listening to the fantastic music. Fast forward ten (more?) years, and the game is still hyped and the music great.
